MG MGA - Miss Marple
Just spotted a light blue MGA on Agatha Christie's Miss Marple (ITV3). Has it been noted before? Steve |

Seem to remember Gordon mentioning it a while back. Probably only you two actually watching that! |

I took a few photos of the TV set. The delay between pressing the shutter and the photo taking meant that I missed the full MG shots. Nevertheless, this is what I got. Steve ![]() |

Quite impressive Steve! Can't quite imagine the scene in your house though: "Darling, get the digital camera - Miss Marple is coming on!" |

Steve, My wife mentioned to me this morning that she thought she saw a nice MGA on Miss Marple. She sometimes gets mixed up between TR3 & Healey so I didn’t get excited, I think I have an apology to make. Looks a nice car. Richard |

What episode was that? we have several series here and I will look for it. I like to watch those old series to see the cars. There has been a nice TD in some also. HJ |

Harley It is the series with Julia McKenzie as Miss Marple. The title of this episode is 'Murder is Easy'. I just did a quick trawl on the internet. It was released a year ago on 13 September 2009. Amusingly , one critic noted the following: 'The American Girl (Bridget Conway) is driving a late model Austin Healy Sprite with aluminum wheels. This car was not introduced until 1958 and would have had wire wheels. In any case it would be out of place in a late 1940's period piece.' Oh yes. 0 out of 10 for recognition. Steve |

John Not guilty - yet. It was an 8pm to 10pm film. It was just on in the background whilst I was studying the wisdom on this BBS. All of a sudden I was aware of an MGA on the screen. After that I was glued to it, camera in hand. The rest is history. Steve |
