MG MGA - NAMGAR announces location for GT-39

Hi Everyone,

NAMGAR announced during the banquet at GT-38 that the next GT will be held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada's Capital, in 2014. It has been 7 years since a GT was held in Canada, the last time being GT-32 in Whistler, BC.
See the article on www.namgar.com, and the link at the end of the article to the GT-39 web site that went live today.

The CCMGC in Vancouver also announced that they will be running a NAMGAR Regional Event - Cruise to the Capital. This is a drive from Victoria, BC, to Ottawa, and MGAs, Magnettes, and other British cars can join the group as it crosses the country.
Initially it will follow a route through Canada, and then drop down into the US just before the Great Lakes. More information will be made available as the event details are firmed up. If you would like to be added to an email list to receive info on this drive, send an email to C2C@namgar.com.

The actual GT will run from July 14 - 18. More info can be found here:

Really looking forward to it - this GT will be one of the closest for us here on Long Island, NY - only 500 miles!

And here is the GT-39 website. Great job on the part of the hosting committee to have it up so quickly!

Andy,
Yesterday we received an enquiry from a group (led by Gary Lock who was at GT-37) in Australia who want to ship their cars to Vancouver, to then drive with the C2C to Ottawa.
Wouldn't that be great!
Peter.

That'd be fantastic Peter. I figured you'd draw a crowd from the west and south-west, but I never thought it'd go that far south-west!
