MG MGA - New Aussie MGA!
This is a newly restored MGA on the Victorian scene. Some nice features are cut down windscreen (polycarbonate), 14" wheels, louvred bonnet, 2.2 litre bored and stroked B series motor (billet crank), 5 speed Nissan g'box, 1.75" SUs, mesh grille, standard front valance with mesh covered cut-outs where bumper horns come thru - aluminium strip covering lap joint holes. Very nice car, but just a little suggestion in future, dont go mentioning the screen is poly as depending on the material used it may be illegal under Australian Design Rules (ADR8) nationwide no matter what the individual State Authority says! regards Mark |

A beautiful looking car, is there a lot of difference between the nissan and ford type 9 box?, Vin. |

A real beauty! And I believe I'm right in saying that BRG was a factory colour for you guys down under. How good is that! One day mine will look not dis-similar to this (I hope). Chris. |

Great looking car built within our competition rules. Vin, the reason we see Nissan boxes used in Oz is that they are readily available for a nominal price and fitting is relatively inexpensive. The Ford box was not used in any vehicle sold in our market so is only available by importing a box from the UK together with the fitting kit, making it a very expensive exercise. Regards, Bob. |
