MG MGA - New catalogue cover Moss

Hey, it's me on the new Moss catalogue. Daughter a little miffed because I'm driving her car! I'll need to scan the cover to post it.
David Holmes

Just got the various catalogs today, and was wondering who it was. Nice to put a face to the name! :)

You can see my wife driving her MGA on the cover from last year, OEW MGA with a blond at the helm. You can see me (as a silhouette) driving my daily driver RHD BGT on the MGB catalog cover from the same time period.
Steve Simmons

Not that I'm jealous or anything, but do you California guys have a lock on Moss' cover selections ;)...
G Goeppner

Congratulations David! I can't wait to get my copy from Moss, but I'll always treasure the original construction photo of you and your daughter in the car you sent me.
Yes, George the California guys do seem to have a lock on the cover shots just like the KC area guys seem to have on the VB catalogs, we're just close when they need a new car. VB usually selects cars at one of the local shows when they need one and then get with the owner for the shoot. They used to shoot some of them right at the KC All British event, but haven't done so in a few years now.
Bill Young

Thanks Bill, Yes, Moss is close to me so it is very convenient when they are looking for cars to shoot. No lock really just convenience for them.
David Holmes

The guys at Moss actually have to work hard to find cars for the covers, because there are only so many local cars available. They don't use outside photos, so the car has to be physically on location for the photo shoot.
Steve Simmons

Here it is. Scanned so resolution not as crisp.

Grin factor personified! Great picture! The Moss Europe covers are pretty lame ("arty"!?) in comparison.
