MG MGA - nice looking car
Hi guys this one seems hard to fault, apart from MGB carbs http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MG-MGA-1600-Mark-II-1962-MGA-1600-Mark-II-Frame-OFF-Restoration-MUST-SEE_W0QQitemZ190372219935QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item2c53118c1f Gordon |

Gordon I presume it was not you who won the £58M on the lottery last night! Steve |

I had a set of those pancake air cleaners on my A for a few years. Glad to get rid of those and install a set of K and N filters. Whole lot better air movement with the K & N's. Anyone want to buy my old ones? They'll look really good sitting on your shelf. Ray |

Very nice car but it's odd that there are tonneau studs at the rear but none on the front scuttle. Do you think he forgot?.............................mike |

With a starting bid of $30K and even that is not enough to meet the reserve, I hope he gets what he wants. I would hope for that $$ they would throw in a spare tire. |

The seats to the red MGA coupe are about as good as it gets. |

The eBay auction is over on this car with zero bids. If you think you missed out on this and have money burning a hole in your pockets, the same person now has a couple of Bentleys and a Lambo with the bidding starting north of $125,000. |

Hi guys this one sounds nice, when you blow the pics up you can see it has the correct door rubbers and I think I can see the tool kit roll in the boot http://www.classicperformanceford.com/MG_A_1961_822CYT/page01.htm Gordon |

Tatty "original" interior. Looks like bondoed over rocker panels to me. As usual, 50 beauty shots of exterior paint and not one picture of the underbody. You might expect this one to have little or no sheet metal left in the inner body sills (until someone might prove otherwise). When you buy an MGA that has never had the body off for underbody restoration work, you get to do it. This one looks to me like a project car where someone wasted a little money for paint to make it look good when it may be quite rotten underneath. Waiting for someone to do a hands on inspection to prove me wrong. Otherwise it's way over priced (maybe as much as triple the actual value). |

Hi Barney as you say one would have to have a jolly good look underneath Gordon |
