Gordon - Looks as though it may be going too cheap - although it probably hasn't got the tool kit in the boot!! |

Hi Cam that one never had a tool kit and I had looked after it for an elderly friend since he bought it of his sister in law who, along with her husband bought it new in Jersey,my friend brought it over in about 1990 as far as I can remember and the only time it was used was for its annual MOT, all I ever did was polish it from time to time and start it to charge the battery, when he died in 2005 I bought it from his wife got it re registered in the UK, my friend had never bothered,I sold it fairly quickly as I didn't think I liked the coupe with hindsight I wish I had kept it, it was quite an original car, not quite so now by the look of it, the interior seems to have been replaced in a different colour unless it is the photos

and the inside that was the original colour and still on its Jersey plates, now on another family car in Jersey I believe, I have quite a few black and white photos of it when fairly new and the family in Jersey feel sure the toolkit must be somewhere in their fathers old garage, they still live in the same property Gordon ![]() |

Don't think you could afford the petrol these days Gorden, as it's fitted with 2" SU's |

The date on the pictures is a bit old. I wonder whether that's because the car doesn't really look like they show? |
Dan Smithers |
Hi Dan they were taken a couple of years after I sold it but knowing the chap that bought it and the work he did to it ,it would look at least as good as that if not better, i 'm glad to say its still got the correct door rubbers that I bought at great expense from Clarke in the USA, when I first had it it still had the originals on it which were identical Gordon |

I was all set to disagree with you chaps but having just looked at my 1600 coupe, mine is the same! The central panel is parallel with the door bottom, not the top! |

It is a cheap car going by Australian prices ($A18,800) Mike |
