MG MGA - On the cover!

OK, this may come off as boasting, but, my MG and me are on the covers (front and back) of the new issue of Classic MG magazine. Imagine my surprise! The front cover photo (attached) was taken when we were in the mountains after Monarch pass, US Route 50, on the Rallye to Reno. PJ Lenihan, from North Carolina, is in the red MGB-GT. Dick Lunney's article on R2R is excellent. It was the trip of a lifetime and this is the icing on the cake!
Waaaay cool!

That's a great photo. Well done.

Wow, Great Picture! We were part of the R2R also, and you are right. A trip of a lifetime, never to be forgotten. It could only happen in a Classic MG.

Excellent - looks like one to be framed for the garage wall.
Cam Cunningham

Gerry - who took that picture and how was it set up? Incredible !
Ken Doris

Ken,
The photo was taken by Dick Lunney, editor of Classic MG magazine. I had the privilege of running with him and several others (PJ Lenihan, John Deikis, Lloyd Faust) through Kansas, Colorado, Utah and Nevada. Sometimes Dick would run ahead and pull over, get out of his car and take photos when we came by. That's how this one was done.
