if thats what they want to do im sure there will still be plenty of places that would welcome the income that must surely come from the classic car tourist |

Maybe if no-one went to the Retromobile show they might get the message. |

As a friend of mine said "I didn't leave anything there that I need to go back for". Maybe if everyone driving, owning, interested in the cars or the sport or the business adopts this, the message will sink in. Agree with Vin. FRM |

Can't remember the exact figure but occasionally someone in government quotes what the classic car business is worth in the UK and its awesome £££ and supports a multitude of small businesses. France has got enough financial problems without killing off its smaller gooses. |

Knowing the French - next they will probably ban all cars except those made in France. |

The more fool Bertrand Delanoë, then! |

I think old vehicles are banned from Italian cities and it suggests German cities as well. |
John Francis |
This is only the tip of the iceberg for the French. They have become irrational and Canute-like in their policies...... Hollande and their officials have said they have a magic wand to make their social and economic problems go away....sad twits!! |
