MG MGA - Radiator Badge Plate
I have had a twin cam radiator built, and it came out perfect (thanks Paul at Sports Car Craftsmen, Arvada, CO.) anyhow I need the ID plate that would go on the top of the radiator. Can anyone help? Don Black dblack@davisav.com Thanks! |

Don, I have a couple of old radiators from 58 1500. Are the plates the same? |

Twin cam radiator plates look like the example attached and are uniquely stamped to each car. They were made in batches. On the Yahoo group there are many examples listed in a table. Cheers Mark. ![]() |

Thanks for the image, I'm not so worried about the ID number as this is a copy of a TC radiator, I'll stamp Sports Car Craftsmens phone number there. I also have a 1600 radiator sitting on a shelf (clean and ready) I'll look at that ones plate. Thanks for the help. Don YD1956 |

I picked a new repro one up on ebay last year for about £5. Quite close in appearance to original . |

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the plate went on the back of the radiator, not the top. Or is the Twin Cam different? Steve |

I believe James Alcorn has them available. The plate goes on the top of the Twin Cam radiator, not the back. |

Top of the TC radiator, back of the pushrod radiator |

I love the Poms and all that they stand for! They were very reluctant to change anything and the radiator makers plate is practically identical to the one on my 1931 M-type! |

Garry, I also need a radiator plate, who is James Alcorn and how do I get in touch with him? Ken |
