MG MGA - Radio Blanking Plate

I went to the restoration show today hoping to get a radio blanking plate for my 1500 MGA. The only options seemed to be the crinkle black.
Am I right that originally it would have been body colour i.e. white? If so does anyone know where I can get one from. Thanks Paul

Paul,
Yes it would be body colour. Just buy the crinkle finish item and sand off the crinkle finish, then prime and finish in your body colour.
