MG MGA - Removed front hub; bearing remains on spindle

Hi people;
Dropped by a couple weeks ago inquiring about play in front hub. It was determined that it needed replacement.
By the way, George G., as per your suggestion, I contacted Sports Car Craftsmen for a used hub & they came though; it's now sitting on the workbench ready to install. :)
Problem is, when I removed the old hub, the inner bearing remained on the spindle, along with the seal behind it. I can't fit a puller; the seal doesn't leave enough room for the ends of the puller arms to grab behind the bearing. Only solution I can come up with is to stick a screwdriver between the bearing and the seal and leverage enough of the seal out to grab, cut, mangle, slice, whatever, to cut through it so it can be removed leaving enough room for the ends of the puller arms to grab onto the bearing.
I can't come up with any other solution, but thought I'd run it by you people in hopes someone had a more elegant approach.
As always, thanks...

I would replace the seal with a new one anyway.

Rick, attached is a link to the MGAguru site which will provide some options for you:

Cut it off with a dremel.

Graeme, yup; got a couple extras on the shelf.
Nick; thanks.. went there and discovered bearing separators which may even work without removing the seal beforehand (I say "may"..)
I'll be able to remove the seal one way or another; I was just fishing for a way to do it without damaging the bearing by levering out the seal with a screwdriver.

That is my front spindle with stuck bearing pictured on Barney's site. I removed the bearing exactly as he suggested using a Dremel tool with a cut off wheel to notch the inner race, and a cold chisel to split/spread it.

D Rawlins; I may end up doing that, but first I'll wait until the bearing separator I ordered arrives & try that first. (it's a brand new bearing)
