MG MGA - RHD accelerator pedal work-around?

At the risk of going over old territory-

Has anyone seen or know of an acceptable method of adapting an existing LHD accelerator setup to fit a RHD?

Have had a quick scan thru old posts and found nought and was wondering, given the general level of "tinkerability " amongst A owners, there must be a neat and "undetectable " solution. One that ticks all the boxes and appears to be "original"

Anyone?

It's a very different beastie. I'll go an get mine out from the cellar and take a photo.

Took longer to find my camera than the pedal (which has been in the same box for 15 years)

Hi Dominic

and thanks- at least I now have a decent set of pics to work from- unless you are looking to let it go to a nice warm and friendly home downunder?

Sorry Mark - on the remote possibility that I may one day return to the UK with my car I have kept all the RHD bits, which is why they are packed up in the cellar for the last 15 years or more. Mind you, looking at the price a RHD rack fetches still, I'd hate to think what the kit of Rack, Dash, dip switch bracket and pedals is worth

It is just completely different, it mounts on 2 pivots 2 feet apart whereas the rhd unit is a double sided pivot assembly with a mounting pin through the centre.
We sell new rhd accelerator pedals and the mounting butt and they are around £50 complete.
