Many many years ago Montreal Canada was plagued by seemingly never repaired potholes.
A local radio station CJAD took it upon itself to awake Montreal up. They offered up large plastic tubes to place over the antenna as an extender to continue their program while exploring potholes. That did not work so they upped their transmitting power.
Nothing so far worked but it seemed to initiate the road department into action when they placed small plastic speaker buttons in the holes. They claimed they would supply uninterupted station reception while traversing the gullies.

I had a good chuckle from your photos, Steve.

Pot holes are defintely a problem here in the Spring. I've never had to test this, but some say that if you damage a wheel or suspension as a result of hitting a pot hole, you can submit a bill for the repair to the local municipality.

It is an advert for Pioneer suspension components. It was an ad released in India created by an Everest Y&R advertising agency.

Not sure how accurate that is but you can see in the photos above the words "feels like pioneer Suspension" on the pavement.

Very effective.
