MG MGA - Rubber seals on swivel links

Good afternoon,
I replaced the seals on our steering links about 11 years ago. In looking them over I find that the rubber is pretty soft and they need replacing. Seems like a short life - has anyone found a seal made of tougher, long-lived rubber?

If you mean the ones on the ends of the trunnion links, there used to be a guy in Germany who made them out of a longer lasting rubber. Declan Something (?) - search the archive or maybe someone else can point you in the right direction. He also did the seals for the vertical swivel on the kingpin.

But the versions available from Moss have improved dramatically in recent years - they don't dissolve on installation like the old ones you have!

I received the seals from Etsy and they look very good. Firmer material. Declan's look like the real solution but I have not had time to check all the details before ordering.

I have to be thankful for guys like him and the person who made the seals at Etsy for taking the time, and spending their genius, for helping us regular guys!
