MG MGA - Small Rack Boot Clamp Does not fit
The Moss Clamp for the smaller side of the Moss rack boot does not fit. Tried to wrap it around, and its not really even close. Thoughts? I hate to just use a regular clamp as it looks like the sharp edge where the screw is could go through the boot at some point. Id be interested to hear thoughts on how to best address this. Thanks Tom |

Use a cable tie |

If you ever want this problem to go away, everyone has to return the bad parts for refund. |

I also experienced this with a clip set from B&G. It was too wide and too small in diameter. They have been notified (and replied the usual 'never had this problem before'). |

I have also always used black cable ties for this purpose...Just cut them off, when you need to remove. Edward |

That's why we keep getting such sub-standard parts from the vendors. If they get your money, and the part is not returned, it is considered to be a perfect piece of consumer product. When quality no longer matters the vendors have the incentive to source the cheapest possible parts regardless of quality, and the situation gets worse with time and lower price competition. You pretty much get what you pay for, and it that's what you're buying that's what they will supply. |

Not sure what you mean you get what you pay for. I ordered the part Moss indicated worked for the boot, and I paid what they asked. I did not ask for or pay for a part that was questonable or that was at a discount. Guess I am a bit confused why there seems to be a suggestion that I am the bad guy. Tom |

I didn't say anyone was a bad guy. I was just trying to clarify why we continue to get bad parts. |

I agree with Barney David... |
