MG MGA - SPEEDI-SLEEVES
Does anyone know the dimensions of the speedi-sleeves used on the MGA rear axles? |

http://mgaguru.com/mgtech/rearaxle/hub_11.htm This little repair device is manufactured by Chicago Rawhide, the same company that makes shaft seals. The correct size for the MGA and early MGB banjo style rear axle hub seal is 1-15/16" diameter. The CR part number is 99193, and by default the width of the ring is 5/8", no other width is available from this source. Barneys site: Amazing. |

I purchased a group of them off of the internet and have 3 left of the Chichago Rawhide 99193. I could let them go for $ 25.00 ea postage included. |

Thanks Gordon but I have been able to obtain one NOS locally here in NZ. |

Hi Gordon, I would be interested in purchasing one of your spare SpeediSleeves if you still have them - cheers Cam |

Details of the speedi sleeves are available on MGAGURU http://mgaguru.com/mgtech/rearaxle/hub_11.htm The Federal Mogul brand are available at any decent bearing shop. Mike |
