MG MGA - SSY 827 MGA
Hi, I was wondering where this car is now. I restored it in around 1996 and after a few years sold it to a gentleman in Wales, then about 6-8 years ago it was for sale at Simon Robinson's place 2 miles from my house! Did it stay local? Anyone know it's whereabouts? Just curious that's all! Cheers MG'ers! Colin. |

Maybe it's just me but I think we need more info on this car in order to help. SSY 827 is not familiar to me. Is it a Twin Cam? What model year? Jim |

Hi It is still around as I see it taxed and MOT'd till next year. If you know someone in the trade they can check the registration number and it's whereabouts. Barry |

Hi Colin Have you considered contacting the MGA Register of the MG car club? Many cars (including mine) will be on their records. But I dont know what the data protection laws will say about putting you in touch. Worth a go though. Graham |

Colin G Whilst Graham makes a sound suggestion, you will need to be a member of the MGCC to make enquiries, as it is club policy to not disenfranchise members by supporting and operating a service for non members. Regards Colin |

Thanks for all the replies fellas. It was a B series not a twin cam. Red. Steel wheels. Beige hood. I have an MGB now. Its good to know its still currently on the road. I used it winter and summer for about 4 years. Loved it. |

Have you tried getting in contact via the DVLA? You used to be able to send a letter to them asking to send one on to the current owner. Whether the owner responds is up to them. dan |
