MG MGA - Tool kit value

Hi all,
What do you think a complete, original MGA toolkit is worth (UK)

Hi Mike,

Thanks, yes I've seen that. I've got a complete, original kit with jack and pump and I want to value it. I'm sure it's several hundred pounds but how many?

Phil

Gordon Pugh will probably know the value. He used to assemble MGA kits and sell them. He will probably pick this thread up in the next day or so. I have his email if you don't want to wait.

Hi Steve,
Yes, I have swapped emails with Gordon in the past but no longer have his email address so if you wouldn't mind sending it to me that would be great.

Many thanks,
Phil

PS. You can get the jack value from my site: http://www.classic-british-car-jacks.uk/

Would a Hattersley & Davidson stirrup tyre pump make anyone's day? 1-1/4 OD barrel and 18-3/4 stroke. All brass with a beechwood handle cast iron stirrups and a 150psi gauge with the red line on 80. Probably too ancient for MGAs but fine for prewar cars.

Hello, Dave,

I would be interested in your tire pump. I am working to compete the tool kit for my prewar MG.

Thanks,

Hello Dan

I have tried to send you a picture of the pump but the server does not like your email address.

Would you please send an email to me at davidandpammy@btinternet.com and I will try again.

Cheers

Has anyone managed to buy anything from the http://members.optushome.com.au/inpoint/page2.html people?
I tried last winter but got one email back and then nothing since.

Mike do you know them. I would like to finish off my toolkit which is almost complete now.

Phil, any chance of posting/sending a photo of your tool kit and pump? I have been collecting info on these and always watch out for original kits. Luckily I have the original kit with roll and pump for my 1955 TF.

Matthew.
