MG MGA - Trun Signal Handle screw

Hi there,
Can anyone tell me what specs is the screw for the Turn signal handle. The one holding the plastic level.

I seem to have misplaced it during the stripdown+rebuild.

Thanks!

Gonzalo,
I'm not at home, so I can't measure it. But I can tell you it's a Fillister head screw (see picture) and I think it's around a 10-32 or maybe an 8-32 and it's about 3/8 in. long.
Cheers,

If you need one, Todd Clarke has the correct ones.

It's a half inch long and I'm pretty sure it's 5BA thread. Odd BA sizes are nowhere near as common as even numbers even over here and when you add the slotted fillister head with chrome plating I think you may have a struggle getting one easily (unless Moss have them of course) I got one from Anglo Parts and the thread was OK plus it was chrome plated but it was a cheese head. It seems odd why Lucas didn't use 4BA................Mike

Mike is correct, the screw is a 5BA (measured it earlier today). It's good to hear that Clarke spares has them as that size is really hard to come by. I was going to suggest a 5-44 UNF screw as the thread count is only off by 1 TPI and since the #5 American screw is slightly smaller in diameter, it would work in a pinch. Cheers - Dave

If it is that special of a screw I will look in my 'bag of screws' again to see if I can find it.
GOD, I hate to loose stuff!!

Thanks for the responses.
