MG MGA - york to cornwall

Hi anyone heading from York to Devon/Cornwall with an empty trailer over the next few weeks?

No but you need to tell us more Gordon, spill the beans. Although I seem to recall Steve Gyles is heading South, would it fit in the back of a removal van!
John Bray

Like John says, you have us intrigued. Are you an MGA owner again?

Removal lorry now full, sorry.

Steve

Steve Gyles

No, but it's a bit easier than the guys heading from beijing to Abingdon - they have left Istanbul today en rout for the picturesque part of their journey

Hi guys don't get too excited, I might have the chance to look after a frogeye for a while whilst the owner is abroad but I have to get it down here first

Gordon
Cant you drive it down?
Graham M V

Hi Graham it's obviously a long time since you sat in a frogeye lol

Steve those legs are not suitable viewing for some of the fragile souls who look at this board

Gordon
You've forgotten. I have a frogeye too! It's not that bad. And it's down hill all the way according to the map - lol
Graham M V

Hi Graham I did forget you had one, the thought of being on motorways in a frogeye, we don't even use the wifes MX5 on them as it is too terrifying lol, I found this frogeye down here about 3 years ago it had been in the chaps garage for about 40 years lol

Gordon,
Assuming the car is road-worthy I would go for it, if it means you get to play with it for a few months.
Although it is not in the same league as the MGA, they have loads of character. People are always stopping me to look at the car. Strangely, much more so than the A.
Graham M V

Used to drive my Frogeye to Cornwall every year for our holidays. Take the 'Zen' route rather than the motorways.
John Bray

Hi John, I don't think that, even if the car made it I would lol
