MG MGB Technical - 16 ACR Alternator

I am on the look out for a alternator Lucas part number LRA 129, ITS A 16 ACR with twin plugs, I have tried everywhere I can think of new and second hand, I know I can convert it to a single euro plug but I want to keep it original with the two plugs, If anyone has one for sale or knows where I can get one new or second hand, working or not working, I would be interested Thanks

Thanks Paul tried them but both, no luck with either of them, I was surprised when I asked Andy Jennings, and he said that he had never seen one,

Surprises me too, they probably just chop the wires and leave the plugs in :o)

I did think about JCR Supplies as in the past they have had different styles of diode packs which have the connections, and wondering if you could put one together. But they don't seem to be online any more.

Have you tried 'Classic & Vintage Dynamos'

They refurb Alternators/ starters etc they are in Shirebrook, Notts NG208SP - they used to be at the Stoneleigh show - i've not been for a few years so assume they still exist ?

Thank you Roger for the information about the 16 ACR alternators, unfortunately they are the single plug type, I will keep searching someone will have one for sale somewhere.
