MG MGB Technical - Brake pipe size

Hi,

Does anyone know the brake pipe length for Moss part number GPP68AC ? This is the brake pipe from the rear flexi hose to the connector block under the car on a dual circuit late rubber bumper car?

I need to make a new one and would like to make one before destroying the old one getting it off!

I could make a rough estimate while on the car but could do with knowing a more accurate figure.

Cheers
AdrianS

I don't know if it would be different to a single-circuit chrome bumper, but mine runs from a female-female connector here...

...to a bracket adjacent to the O/S/R damper.

Let me know if it is and I can measure it.

The Parts Catalogue shows pipe 13H 1259 from the in-line connector to the rear brake hose 3-way connector on servo system dual-line brakes as being 67" or 1702mm.

I think the dual-line system may be different from the single circuit.

I'll go along with Pauls answer and make one up 67" long!

What parts catalogue are you using Paul?

BL September 76 on, AKM 0037, Feb 77 1st Edition (I wonder if that last bit makes it worth more ...)

Hope my mention of the 3-way connector didn't cause you to scratch your head, that is at the other end of the hose of course.
