MG MGB Technical - Carb Question
Could anyone supply me with some pictures which show the linkage between the carbs as well as the choke and throttle cable attachment positions on the dual su carbs for a 71 MGB. It has been about 5 years since I broke them down and I can't find any pictures with enough detail to let me reassemble them. I would also like to have a larger image whiah would show which area of the firwall the cables pass through. Thanks |

Have a look at this. The yellow cable is the throttle, the other the choke. Not the best view of the links but if you can enlarge it should be better than nothing.

Thanks for the help Richard. |

You might also like to have a look at http://www.mgb-stuff.org.uk/wn_fuelframe.htm and click on 'Choke control' and 'Throttle cable', those are from a dual SU UK 73 car which should be much the same. LHD I assume, the throttle cable at least takes a completely different route to RHD. |

Oh, HIFs are different to HS, and the UK kept HSs much longer! |

Thanks Paul great detail. |
