MG MGB Technical - Dave DuBois' writings

As is often the case, when Dave DuBois passed this past January, his writings, which were available on his homepage, became unavailable. Since I enjoyed his writings very much and he taught me a great deal over the times I corresponded with him, I downloaded the collection before the site closed.

I recently reached out to his son, and asked permission to place the articles on my website.

You can find them by going to the front page of my site, www.dbraun99.com scrolling down, and just below Technical Documents and Valuable Website Links finding the link to his documents.

Warmly,
Dave Braun

I didn't know that, sad to hear. Dave, his wife and I met up on one of his trips over here and we emailed from time to time. Thanks for that link, I'll amend my pages.

Dave, thanks for the heads up. Dave and I communicated from time to time and as recently as this last Fall, I was unaware of his passing. He was always willing to help and was a real gentleman. We met up many years ago when I organized a tour of MGs from Canada into Washington State and we met up with him and other members of their local Club for dinner and an evening socializing. Great man and a equally great wife's!

He will be missed.

Truly a sad day to find out about Dave's passing.

I had met him on these green pages of mg!

I had inquired to him about his electronic fuel pump conversion for my mga after going through a few over the years.

I sent him about 25 to 30 fuel pump cores I had been collecting.

He sent me back one of his electronic wonders!

He took the cores in trade so we never swapped money.

I remember being very grateful for his kindness on the trade!

I live near Boston so then shipping cost me a bit to ship across the country.

I wish I had gotton to meet him in person but he treated me right and we talked and I was always glad to hear from him!

R.I.P. Dave

You are missed!
