MG MGB Technical - dynamo to alternator
I want to change my 1600 MGA from dynamo to alternator, which apparently would be the same kit as for MGB, but MOss does not have the vital bracket required alternator to engine. Does anyone have an ideas as to where I can get one? |

The bracket from an Austin Maxi 1750 will fit for early B-Series blocks for to fit an alternator. Ralph |

HL Davy, This mod was quite well described in one issue of Enjoying MG, last year. Please, have a glance onto MGOC's web site to check at it. It should still be available. If either not, you may ask them for technical advises too. Rgds. |

Been playing with my B for 22 years and never heard of Leacy! Cannot believe it. Have added to my favourites. John |

Was there just yesterday, fortunately for me they are quite local. |
