MG MGB Technical - gt sun visor mounting screw size

Anyone know the size and thread count for the screw that mounts a sun visor on a 67 GT? Tnx.

I will check tomorrow steve. You talking about the one by the window post that holds the visor in place or the one for the plastic rod towards the Mirror?

Here is a picture Steve. The screw is 19mm by 5 mm fine thread.

It is not. There are no metric threads on MGB, never were, with possible exception of some very late hydraulics, and perhaps some other ancillaries on late cars. Also none on any other MG post T series.

The screw is 10-32 UNF x 3/4". With a few exceptions involving electrics (BA & BSF) and fluid fittings (BSP), ALL threads on ALL post T series MG are UN, and 99% are UNF.
