MG MGB Technical - Hard Top, Fit both Rubber & Chrome Bumper?

I put my extra hard top on Craigs list. Someone asked what years it will fit. I got it with a 1977 rubber bumper car. Will it fit the chrome bumper models as well (all years or only some)? And, will it fit all years of the rubber bumper models?

It is manufactured by Custom Hardtops of Long Beach, California. Later Custom Hardtops changed their name to SnugTops, but the top is the same with either name.

A picture is attached.

Thanks,
Charley

Charley -
Yep, allee samee!
Does that one have vinyl on it? Mine has a lot of nasty paint, but no seams. Evidently there is a masking tape shortage in Connecticut!

Fletcher,

Thanks Fletcher.

I don't think either of mine have a vinyl cover, but they seem to be cast with faux leather grain texture. With enough paint, I suppose it might look like vinyl.

Charley,

is that a light aircraft in your garage, cuddling up to your MGB? If so, it's an impressive garage!

Yes, Mike. That's a 1942 Aeronca 65CA Super Chief.

Here is a better pic.

Garage!!?? If that's a garage, I want to party with you.(LOL) What other toys do you have in there? If I'm ever Kentucky bound I'd love to see it

Cheers

Oh yeah, Gary. I'm toy poor.

You can see a few more of the toys in this pic. Of course, the pic doesn't show the stuff that won't fit in the hanger, like a 66 Autocar road tractor, the 46 Chevy 2-ton, a couple farm tractors, and another BGT (project but rust free).

If you look closely behind the yellow B, you can just make out the 73 Saab 96 V-4, and the front fender/wheel of the autocross Sprite. The blue boat on the left (not mine) blocks the view of the 59 Triumph 650 and the 63 BSA 250 motorcycles.

And perhaps most important to your possible visit, a dorm type fridge full of beer. Just make sure you come during warm weather or your beer may freeze before you finish it. So, come on down. I'll put you to work.
