MG MGB Technical - how to copy/transfer an email to a new thread?
hi i recently received a private communication from paul hunt on how to adjust the coarse and fine idle settings on a z-s carb when the water/automatic choke has been removed. i should like to transfer the whole email message as part of a new post but i have been unsuccessful in doing so. if you know how to do this please let me know so i can share the information with you all. the method is sufficiently different from what john twist reports in the moss motor catalogue. john |

Can't you just copy and paste it into the new comment box? Or am I missing something here? dave |

Assuming you're using Windows, highlight the text you want to copy by holding the left mouse button and dragging across the text. Next press "Ctrl C" to copy the text. Click in the text box of this site and then press "Ctrl V" to paste the text in. |

You can do the same by holding down the left button of the mouse and dragging across the desired text...then click on the right mouse button and select "copy"....then go to the text box of this BBS and left click to place the cursor where you want the text to begin...then right click and select "paste". My comments on adjusting the mixture related to the Zenith carb whether or not the auto choke was fitted or a manual choke had been fitted. Unless Twist went through the full mixture adjustment procedure as part of an article on removing the auto choke then it *will* be different (and could well be anyway). I'd like to see what John Twist has written anyway about removing the auto choke, where is it in Moss? I've found the Tech Tips, and someone writes the conversion kit is #386-320, but that doesn't compute with Moss. |

It's actually 386-325 http://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=37963&SortOrder=2 found by text search, but still no article. |
