MG MGB Technical - Interior diode lights for glove, hood and bonnet

A big 411, for them of you who'd care. 4 years ago I headed to Lost Wages from Tahoe, with the 4 banger family, we were driving 2 @ 4 banger B's. After all, and in the end, I lunched the engine going up the grapevine leading away and to LA: it was 4 corner scoffing, a terrible thing to be at dusk, leaving Las Vegas, with semis rolling past at 80 whilst we were on the shoulder praying for help, and amazed at how close these monsters came. Finally all the kings horses and all the king's men could not put that puppy back together for driving again. The 2-hour-later ("yes we'll be there in fifteen minutes")AAA guy arrives and tows us to the closest sleeper, a Best West on your right smiling

He broke down on the way to Las Vegas in a less than reliable MGB he was driving and he was towed to a best western hotel by the AAA, who took longer than they said to arrive. He couldnt fix the problem himself and trucks were passing very close and at great speed while he was on the side of the road. At least thats how I understood it, but my American is a bit rusty!
