MG MGB Technical - Mann W917 Part II

The original thread went on a tangent away from discussion of the Mann filter. Seeing as I have a volvo too, I ordered a case of these filters off of ebay. Some have said they work well on a B, others have said they are too small.

I have a 76 B. Is there a reason I should not use one of these filters in my B?

Lots of people use these filters on B's.
There are numerous other choices too.

I had been running AC or motorcraft before I moved, but Fram is all I find locally now.

I thought somebody had a concern that it was too small for application on a B.

I have been using the Mann W917 oil filters on four MGBs for about eight years now. No problems noted with any of them.

I use AC PF13 on my 72 B for years, no problems.
