MG MGB Technical - Mark 1 roadster wiper motor

Can anyone describe, or better still point me to photos, of how and where the Mark 1 roadster wiper motor attaches to the bulkhead?

Paul, mine is mounted on three studs that are part of the wiper motor assembly. They have rubber spacers to reduce vibration transferal. I'll try to get a photo later on in the day when I have the car outside. RAY

After some digging I found a picture of the motor with its bracket, knew I had it somewhere, and I uploaded it to:

And this is where it's going, klick to zoom in and scroll to the right. Two horizontal and one vertical screw:

The pictures are both in an album I created for safekeeping of disassembly notes of sorts and since I only intended it as personal reference all actual notes are in Swedish. Just let me know if you need a translation... My main album is in English though, and maybe more interesting for anyone not looking for specifics. :)

The BBS seems to mess up the URLs pretty badly. It replaces some symbols and when you click the link it translates others to code the Photobucket server obviously doesn't support...

Just use s128.photobucket.com/albums/p161/garmer/MGB%20Dokumentation/ instead, the two pictures will be the first ones in the album. In a moment. :)

Will this picture do for you.

Thanks both for the photos, and thanks Dave for the offer, but the two pictures together reveal all. Interestingly that puts the Mark 1 motor a little higher than the Mark 2, it would seem, but the drawings of the rack tubes for the Mark 1 roadster show a right-angle bend where it goes into the motor as if the motor is in quite a different place.

Has anyone fitted a Mark 2 round motor in place of a Mark 1? A pal is reassembling a Mark 1 that came with Mark 2 wiper stuff, which may or may not have been fitted previously. He's blind, and I'm 150 miles away, so I describe stuff like this and he uses touch to match up what he can feel with what I've described!
