Jet-Hot coating inside and out would be my recommendation. Should be a similar company in your part of the world.

If you want to paint or jet coat you obviously are not worried about originality - why not put on good set of extractors?

Powder coating is not suitable and will not cope with the heat. Hi temperature paint is a much better idea.

The factory manifold is quite good and lasts longer than a tubular header.

Plus the factory one is quieter and doesn't warp!

I would have it grit blasted clean and give it a coat of high temp black and new studs.

Serge,

I can certainly speak from my experience of Jet-Hot coating the manifold. The job the guys did here in Australia is superb, it looks great but more importantly the coating keeps the heat from exiting into the engine bay to a large degree therefore keeping everything that much cooler.

I highly recommend getting it done, here is a pic.

Another option is to clean & paint with a spray can of Instant Cold Galvanize, Works great and once heated by engine, last very well. Looks great.
