MG MGB Technical - Rear End Wander

My 70 B when I go over a bump or unev sections of roadway tends to want to go in a diferent direction than the front of the car but quickly recovers. This is only noticeable if accelerating , if I go over the same section of roadway at a constant speed everything is alright.Is this a shock problem or over-inflated rear tires. thanks for any help.

Tighten up the rear shackle bolts. This creates wandering when slack.

And keep in mind that they might feel like they are tight just because the nuts are rusted in place.

R, While you are under the car check the rear springs for a broken leaf, RIC

thanks will muscle them tight.

also check the spring center bolt if it's broken the same thing wil happen
