MG MGB Technical - Rear Wheel Cylinders - Difference

What is the bore on the rear wheel cylinders for a '73 B? I see that Moss lists 0.875" and 0.800". Would the 180-635 be correct for my car?

Thank you!

I think that would depend on whether it's a GT or a roadster.

The GT uses the larger bore cylinder. RAY

I gather there is also a difference in the position of the locating peg. My GT axle appears to have had the back plates redrilled to accomodate roadster cylinders. Are they externally the same size as I think I have replacement roadter cylinders for it.

Externally they are identical.
There is a whole range of different sizes for Minis, Spridgets, Bs, etc. They are all interchangeable, other than the roll pin is in a different location to stop you from fitting the 'wrong' one.

GT are 0.875", roadster 0.8", although GTs only changed to the larger bore in 68. V8s use the same as the roadster.
