MG MGB Technical - Rear wheel studs
Can anyone give definitive lengths of rear wheel studs please. Banjo wire BTB 253 Banjo steel BTB 207 Salisbury wire BTB 187 Salisbury steel BTB 229 I am looking for the longest, which I think are from the Banjo steel wheel axle. Thanks Colin |

Banjo wire are 1.75" overall. Wire wheel studs do tend to be shorter, as they are just holding the drum on, not the wheel. |

Thanks Dave. Interesting. I had them on back order for years and had given up on them. Who knows, maybe they might yet come up with some other long b/o items. |

I have found some of the studs I needed in an old pair of rear hubs. For info I have 3 different lengths, total length, 2.035in, 1.850in and 1.750 in. Not sure which the part numbers are, but my problem solved!! Colin |
