MG MGB Technical - Roadster Update - Pics
Thought I'd post a quick update on my project and progress with the leaky head gasket I reported last week. Re-torqued head which seems to have sorted problem and restored compression to 145 - 160 on each cylinder. Now running and have taken for drive !!!! Just need interior now. |

That's still 10% from lowest to highest, which is considered to be the maximum that should be tolerated :o( |

Andrew, Thats a lovely car. I can just imagine how good it will look completed. You should feel really pleased with your achievements. Thank you also for thinking to update the board with the outcome to your problem. I had read and followed your issue as it was discussed. Nice to know it is resolved. Regards Roger |

Andrew, as a panel beater / painter i spent 25 years working on classics. Give yourself a pat on the back mate well done. It' going to look awsome when finished. Spoggy. |

As Paul says - it's red. Not original, but kept it in the family, it is MG Rover Solar Red. It is slightly darker than the picture in real life! |
