MG MGB Technical - should I be elated or insulted?
I went to change the spark plug in my lawn mower today. It was the same plug as my MGB. Just wondering, should I feel elated that I had some cleaned, gapped plugs sitting around or insulted that I have a "lawnmower engine" in my MGB?

That's disgusting -----lol You realise that now your lawnmower will probably start rusting and leaking oil

Elated, Keith! I'd just use old MGB plugs in your mower from here on in. What engine has it got? Sounds pretty beefy to have a long reach plug. My Briggs & Stratton Quantum engined mower has a short reach plug which seems particular to mowers. That is unless you do have a mower engine in your B!

I know my B has a key but I'm looking for the pull rope too! haha

I keep mine in the boot ...

Just a thought. Hope the head doesn't crack. Be careful of the fan underneath. Cheers Gary 79 MGB

Wow, I did exactly the same yesterday. Had a 11 hp Honda that I needed to rebuild. Found that the plug is the same as the MGB, so I don't have to buy a new one. Just used one of my spairs
