I have one installed in my MGB with a supercharger. Installation is easy and comes with instructions. It is a bolt up unit with everything matching up perfectly and a very good unit. My first thoughts is will it fit the 2L turbo zetec engine. Not sure if the bellhousing will match. This is information you will need and also the spigot bushing on the zetec. The kit includes one, but again that is for the 1800 engine. Ray |

I did it a few years ago - my kit came from Hi-Gear Engineering via The MG Owners Club in the UK. My simple web site describes my experience and has a series of photos http://home.cogeco.ca/~bquartermaine/MGB/ Good luck. Barry |

Well a common conversion for Anglia's is a zetec lump and sierra box. There are a few people who make the rearwheel drive engine mounting systems. They have to be modified a little for most cars but its an engine modification that i gather is relatively straight forward. I would run carbs and a mega squirt ignition system. to eradicate the ecu. In terms of cost it would be a reasonable conversion, that eventually could gain you in excess of 200bhp. Which is much more than the b series. I love keeping the b series on the case but it is too heavy and too expensive to uprate- interms of cost a 185bhp b series block is going to cost you easily in excess of 5-6 g sterling. Having said that there is no body mods that you need but the zetec is less than 500£ for everything. Then 250-300 for the engine mounts and any other related issues. And a sierra box is less than 100£ from a brakers. I think using the b series although i like them is flogging a dead horse. SEB |

Hi I'm considering the same swap. How far have you gotten with your Zetec conversion? I've bought the Hi-gearengineering kit from MGOC. That leaves only the front engine mounts to do Have a look - http://www.ppcmag.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4264 |

Crazy picture. Realistically one you have the gearbox sorted the only thing left if the engine mounts and the sump. Its frustrating my friend had a kit to do it to an anglia. but that bolted to a sierra world cup cross member- It really had to visualise what is needed- I would ditch the injection and run carbs or propper throttle bodies but thats a lot of money and electrics. |
