MG MGB Technical - Window regulator required
Hi Chaps, My driver's side (RH side from inside of car) regulator is expiring through use over the last 30 years.....they are quite scarce in the UK, but it occurs to me that on the other side of the pond, they must be quite common. Does anyone 'over there' know anywhere in the US I can buy a regulator in good condition, the car is a 1977 roadster. I have a Pay Pal account so payment should not be a problem , any offers ? My e mail address is 'mgbv8mike@spamcop(dot)net' |

I see them on ebay (USA) quite often. Later model regulators can be had for about $25 per. Don't have a clue what shipping might be from here to the UK or customs costs. There's some posted now, but I wouldn't be inclined to deal with one of the vendors (poor feedback). One of the other postings is for a NOS regulator (Item number: 130153189415, $149.95), but it's for the left side. |

Thanks Steve, I'll keep an eye on E bay. |

LH ones are probably in less demand and can be used as parts to repair RH side. All you need is a few rivets. Done it many times. Garth |

Hi Ste. R H mechs all seem to be well worn in the UK, that's why I'm looking for a US one, they presumably are pretty much like new. |
