MG MGF Technical - After market alloys?

Can anyone tell me who does alloys in the right fitment and offset for my '96 MGF?

I want 15'' wheels only, maybe multispokes or spyders or summat.

Cheers
Mark B

i would have thought any good alloy wheel place would beable to get the right fitment and offset as long as you tell them that they're for an MGF. GC.

You might want to check out Mike Satur's adapter plates to give you a better choice.

Mark....
The 15" wheels on my car were getting very shabby so I decided to replace them. Our local car accessory shop has sold one set of alloys for an F in 4 years of trading. Apparantley the F has a weird off set and only a few styles are available in this form. It means your choice is limited and waiting time can run into weeks.
I opted to get a set of 17" wheels and the Adapter kit from Mike Satur.
The wheels with tyres fitted, and adapter kit arrived at my door in under 18 hrs of ordering.
The kit was simple to fit and the wheels look superb.
17" is not everyones choice but Mike does do the wheels in 15" also.
I highly recommend going down this route rather than wasting your time and cash with a high street supplier.

The weird spec of the F does mean that knowledgable alloy-thief would realise that he can only sell them to other Rover drivers...

He wouldn't even be able to do that David! All Rovers other than the Metro/Maestro/Montego use the industry standard 100 mm PCD. I guess the thief could sell his wheels to Triumph owners as the Herald range use the same PCD 95.25 mm, as do Triumph TR7s...

Mark, the good news is that Mike sells a PCD adapter so that other makes of wheel can be fitted to the MGF. As David (J) mentions, the wheel offset needs to suit, or odd suspension/ steering behaviour will result - the info you need can be found here: http://www.tyresave.co.uk/fitment.html#ROVE

As David suggests, Mike Satur would be THE place to start asking questions. If he doesn't have the style to suit your tastes, then I imagine that he'd be able to point you in the right direction!

Have a word with B&G as well. When I was in the shop a couple of weeks ago they were selling several designs of MGF wheels in 15" and 16" but with tyres fitted.
??Possibly open to discussion about wheels only??

have a look on B&G web site, http://www.ukmgparts.com and you will see the options

MGF wheels in various styles are available in sets or idividually with or without tyres.
