btw, I see Bruce is online. Mate, could you help on some right english spelling for alternator partts ?
Is 'coals' the right ?
Is rectifier the right name for the diode package ?
And what's the right name please for the copper slide contact rings ?

Hmmm, interesting. So the VVC one's the same as used in the Rover 200. Wonder what the difference in price is!

Would the VVC alternator fit on a 1.8?
