MG MGF Technical - America's Cup

Sorry, guys. I know this is not the subject of this forum, but, I'm so happy for having the 2007 America's Cup, that I couldn't resist the temptation to write it here!!!!

:) :) :D :D ;)

Congratulations! From experience of watching some of the racing live here in Auckland, it is a great spectacle, provided they can set the courses close to the shore. If it is like San Diago, where the courses were a long way off-shore, it is not so good.

Please post any web links when they have been set up so we can all see what Valencia looks like.

Yes, the courses will be near the shore.

If you want to have a sight to Valencia today, you can watch

Don't miss the recipe of the "agua de Valencia (Valencia's water)" in the good life guide section.

I'll post more links in the future.

Anyway, next week I'll try to write you, for asking some practical aspects of the cup, related businnes, and so...

Ibcredible! I've checked the english recipe and is very different to the Spanish one (Spanish has much more alcohol!!!).

So I post the Spanish one tanslated:

Agua de Valencia:

1/2 liter of champagne,
1/2 liter of natural squeezed orange juice
60 cc of gin,
60 cc of cointreau,
60 cc of vodka,
two soupspoons of white sugar,
ice,
two or three slices of orange, just for decoration.

Valencias Water sounds much better than the Sungapore New water,
1. Take a gallon of Malaysian Sewage.
2. ......
3. Pump it into the water system for all Singapore to drink.

But there again it has only be used once not like Thames water , That has been passed nine times.

Spinder...thanks for the Spanish recipe - going to try this at Christmas!
Personally I really like Paella Valenciana, better than the fish based type, although not so easy to find (except maybe in Valencia!)

I have fond memories of Valencia from a few (for few read many) years back.

I was driving a coach (through Valencia) which had, amongst other things, a head gasket failure resulting in a new engine being required, this took AEC four weeks to deliver and fit - so I had an enforced stay in the region:-)

The reason it took so long was due to Spanish Customs and a certain General who was in charge of Spain in those days.
