I have been offered a Trophy Exhaust for £175
Good price???
I'm not bothered about performance gain, but what are the noise levels like over standard? I am after a decent growl.
Would I be dissapointed?

Trophy exaust had to be fitted after the car was sold to get past the noise regulations - if that answers your second question ;-)

Will my local exhaust people be able to fit or are there likely to be difficulties??

I've never thought of the Trophy exhausts as loud. I think you'd be disappointed compared with after-market exhausts. Sorry :-(

Cheers Dave, will stick to looking for a second hand after market, got my girlfriends 21st coming up soon so got to bear that in mind too i spose!

I have a Trophy, and would certainly not have described the exhaust, which, as Will says, was dealer fitted, as loud.

I ran it for a while after fitting an ITG Maxogen filter which gave me the perception of it being slightly louder at speed.

If you want loud try a Miltek Supersports, which is what I went to, but there are others.

I think I still have my old Trophy exhaust, in mint condition, if I do. Did about 3k miles on it.

I'd let it go for £100 if you really want a Trophy one.

Get any of these second hand, and you're onto a winner Ian :o)
