I took the original wood off our vents and console a couple of years back as the trim had started to suffer sun fade. I used a Stanley knife to take the old trim off. You have to CAREFULLY insert the blade under the trim and lift it off. The care is needed to not mark the plastic that the wood trim is stuck to. Once you have the wood trim off you them have to remove the glue from the plastic vents and console. I think I used meths and lots of elbow grease. Cheers Patrick |

Have you tried the hairdryer method. This usually works for decals and exterior badges, I would imagine that the adhesive used inside the car would be the same. |
