MG MGF Technical - clear indicators

help just found my drivers side front indicator hanging out, clip broke, does anybody have one..
think some bugger tried to rob it.

common prob, inspect the paint on the lip before slapping in the new, rust creeps from there after it has been disturbed by flapping indicators. repaint liberaly with rust killing paint (not hammerite) remembering the indicator will cover the whole area.

the indicator is shared with the rover 200 (and metro iirc) so they are not difficult to find, suitable alternatives can even be found in halfords "chav" range if you fancy a change

I think you are talking about the repeater unit.

Alex - you should be able to get one from an ex-Rover dealership.

There's also one on ebay at the moment.

Cheers folks . found one on ebay .original dealer part. just wondering if someone had one knocking about.

You used to be able to buy these from Rover as an accessory and the pair was cheaper than an individual part again from Rover. One of their "two for less than the price of one deals". The Kit was around 25 GBP. There should be part numbers in the archive on this as that was where I got the idea. You also got the side repeaters for free in the same kit. I can look out the part number if you cant find it as the box is still in my Garage.
