MG MGF Technical - coolant pipes

It seems I need to replace corroded coolant pipes x2 Is this a DIY job or what should I expect to pay for fitting?
Thanks
p withington

If the pipes need replacing you better check the radiator as these do corrode. What I can gather it is quite a simple job but you need to know what you are doing when it comes to bleeding the coolant system as you will need to drain it.

I paid £35 pounds each and I think that was fitted.

If you're in Yorkshire, you're on the doorstep of the man that makes alloy coolant pipes and he will fit them as well - Mike Satur

Have a look at http://www.apttony.co.uk/Servicing/HeaterPipes.html

There's also a page on changing the radiator.

Hope this helps
