MG MGF Technical - Deflex bushes

Does anyone have any experience of these polyurethane bushes? http://www.deflex.co.uk/
Ken Waring

No, not heard of them - nor do they list the MGF (only recent Fords and Vauxhalls).

Ken

I know Mike Satur supplies PU bushes specifically for the F/TF. Maybe some of the other aftermarket suppliers such as B&G and Moss do as well.

Thanks Chris.
I was specifically interested in DEFLEX because I found a page about MGF bushes and then 'lost' it. Anyway I emailed the company and I now have a data sheet on the bushes. Front set £45 and rear £82. Inserts are stainless 303. It seems the company also has two compounds hardfor racing and softer for road use. Sounds good.
Ken Waring

As they are orange and have stainless inserts, I suspect that they're the same as the ones that Mike sells. Might be an idea to compare prices - but the numbers you've got seem competitive IIRC?
Rob Bell

The buhses I bought from Mike 2/3 weeks ago were Powerflex, blue/mauve.
Ken Waring

Thinking about it, you're right: Brown and Gammon's Superflex bushes are orange, and IIRC use a mild steel insert Ken.

How do the costs stack up?
Rob Bell

Which bushes are we talking about? Tie bar bush, shocker bush etc..
Steve Ratledge

Shocker bushes are not mentioned but most others are.
Rear
TCA inner and outer, Tie bar both ends, drop link and rollbar mounting

Front
Lower wishbone front and rear.
Rollbar.
