What is Dieter's site address? If its mgfcar.de I couldn't get onto that either.
I've had no response from dkoen@gmx.de but he might only look during the week.

There is a thread on MGF General "Dissuasion against www.mgfcar.de" that may throw some light. I also beleive that Dieter works away from home during the week but he normally reads www and email several times a day week and weekend.
Hope he is well and his excellent site reappears soon.

Apparantley there was a computer virus across Europe earlier today which slowed internet traffic. May explain why Dieters site was playing up....an extract from AOL News reads........."Stephen Beddow, marketing director of COLT, a voice data and Internet service provider for businesses, said: "An alarm started flashing at about 8.30am to suggest that some sort of virus is proliferating traffic across the IT networks.

"It looks as though the virus causes the normal volume of traffic on networks to multiply, beyond what you would normally expect to see.

"That has to have an impact. It slows the Internet down. The virus seems to cause the network to replicate itself, which causes serious quality issues."

Yooohhooohh !!! :) here I am.

Got DSL 384 (low speed, 44KB/s) this weekend running :)
Plenty of damn IT things to be sorted. Thanks to my oldest son who knew how to install all the other stuff like firewall, virus scanner etc.

Now online much quicker to service the webside ;)
Faster upload and ... Errrr, higher fee for the Telekom ;)
btw, never miss to clicking the sponsor links on site.

The site is still at the same place. Lame-delegation is only the original providers folder where www.mgfcar.de routes to.
