MG MGF Technical - full length touneau cover
I have just acquired a brand new, never fitted full lenghth tourneau cover. Has any one out there fitted on of these contraptions before. Does it completely replace the semi-T cover that rests hopefully on the folded hood ? Its seems to have all the bits AND the icon type instructions with it. cheers Pete

Yes, it should make the car watertight so you should be able to leave it on overnight etc. Trouble is that usually means the windows have to stay down. Good luck with the icons! Will

Didn't know that Rover were doing one! Ted

Neither did I... errm have I missed somthing here? There are at least two after market ones I know about- one requires drilling(don't know where I saw this) and the B&G one doesn't Will

Rover have only been doing a full length tourneau for two years!I know because I've had one for that long. To correct another erroneous posting of the past, they still do the power hood and yes, you can also get replacement brackets that are the weakness in the design that people like Dieter have commented on before.

And in the last pre-TF brochure I have, they were still doing one....
