MG MGF Technical - Have you fitted a factory windstop?

If you've got the MG windstop fitted, please have a look at the instructions (what,thrown them away ! doh). Could you please let me know the size of the two bolts which secure the windstop to the t bar frame.

They are 10mm and not 8mm as per MG fitting instructions.
I think they give the wrong size just to make it a test.

You failed the test, they are M6 thread.

Excuse my ignorance but if I asked for an M6 thread would that be sufficient information? Would I also need to state diameter?

M6 is the tread dia,they are about 15mm long.

I thought you needed to extract these bolts,to do so you need a 10mm socket.

Sorry I did not read your first post correctly,the ones you need to secure windstop bracket are M6x50mm.

The ones I referred to above are the original ones that you remove.
